I'm sure that many of you are firming up plans for your holiday weekend getaways and are probably wondering where to fish this weekend. The best thing to do is go to our reports page, but here are a few general ideas to consider
Flows on the Blue are prime for Mysis Shrimp Ffishing and hunting down giant "Red Stripe" rainbows that eat them.
Stillwater (Lake) fishing is awesome now at places like Antero, Spinney, and Delaney Buttes. We're talking big fish by anyone's standards here. It's best to have some sort of water craft for this, so if you don't have a boat already, look into buying a float tube or pontoon boat
Salmonfly nymphs are moving toward the bank on the Colorado and the hatch itself could start any day now. Although the water is off color, expect to catch fish on Salmonfly nymphs from the boat. Make sure to have some dries too. If the hatch starts when you're there you don't want to be without them!
Cerveza Creek also fishes particularly well on holiday weekends. PLEASE FISH RESPONSIBLY!
We've been throwing around the idea of doing a funniest fishing story contest for a little while, but decided that sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. We also realize that many of you don't have time to send us a thousand word story, hence the Phunny Phishing Photo contest. Here are the rules;

Come by to get a tune up or to get your fly fishing career started off right! Advance reservations must be made, but again, the clinics are free....... yes....... free!
