Greetings!
Hi all! Just a quick update on a couple of things.
Flows on the Blue are prime for Mysis Shrimp Ffishing and hunting down giant "Red Stripe" rainbows that eat them.
As far as the fishing goes, things are shaping up quite nicely. Runoff has peaked pretty much everywhere and the early summer madness is about to begin.
Most notably, flows on the Roaring Fork are dropping off the map and we're anticipating an intense and extended Green Drake season! We're booking up quickly for this event, so be sure to call soon if you'd like to get in on the action.
The Salmonfly hatch is still going on from Gore Canyon to Radium, and sporadic bugs have been seen East of Kremmling. Please be aware that Little Gore Canyon has been eating quite a few drift boats this year, so be safe or hire a guide!
We actually do play the Rockin' Robin quite a bit around here (click the Michael Jackson on the left to hear our favorite version), but the real purpose of this article is to let you all know that we've joined Twitter - a free social messaging utility for staying connected in real-time.
If you aren't on Twitter yet, check it out at http://twitter.com. If you are, be sure to follow us at http://twitter.com/cuttanglers.
We'll be providing periodic real-time updates about fishing conditions, hatches, shop news, upcoming events, and more, so sign up to make sure you're always in the know!
We would like to invite you all to show up at the shop on Friday, June 16th for the next Trout Unlimited meeting. The staff at Cutthroat Anglers will be presenting "Fishing and Floating the Colorado River."
This a free event open to everyone. We'll be hanging out starting at 5:30 and the presentation starts at 6:30.
Clint will be available for photos and autographs immediately afterward, so bring your camera and a sharpie!
Sincerely,
Chris Hall
