Greetings!

First of all, we want to thank you all for an outstanding year. We know that times are tough right now, but the fishing's been great and were glad that so many of you were able to take advantage.

We're anticipating another outstanding fall. We've got plenty of water to keep things healthy and the browns are coloring up beautifully in anticipation of the spawn. September is right around the corner and is in our minds hands down the most consistent and pleasant fishing month.

Guide School: Live and Uncensored

Ever wonder how fishing guides manage to point out four bald eagles, change your nymph rig to double dries, get a date with the hot raft guide going by, and serve up a plate of cheese and crackers all while negotiating a class III rapid?

Do you wonder how they catch fish in the mud, what they eat to make them smell the way they do, or how that line of BS about the Tricos coming off at 11:47 turned out to be true?

Whether you're an aspiring guide, a new boat owner, or just curious about what goes through a guide's head at any given second, we give it to you live and uncensored at Cutthroat Anglers Guide School.

Join us for this once in a lifetime experience September 27nd through October 3rd. Show up with lots of questions and open ears. You'll leave a better angler, a better guide, and have laughs and stories that last a lifetime!

For Class Curriculum and details, click here.

Give us a call at 970.262.2878 with any questions or to reserve your spot. Cost is $1800.

Bluegrass and Fly Casts!

There's not going to be a Golf Trout Tournament this year (nobody's actually good at golf AND fishing anyway...... well, except Shooter, but let's keep our standards realistic), so we're going to do a little something in lieu of it to raise some money for the river.

If you don't already have plans tomorrow evening, stop by the shop for a funky good time. We'll be hosting free casting demos, and casting contests (yes, there will be prizes) from 4-6 PM on the lawn. We'll also be raffling off a float trip, so live a little and buy yourself a ticket!

Immediately Following, Spring Creek and Head for the Hills bluegrass bands will be playing for only five bucks!

Stop by, take advantage of the deals, make a few casts, and get your wiggle on!

All proceeds will go to the Blue River Restoration Fund.

Fall Blowout!

People ask us all the time when the end of the season deals will happen. Although it's not quite the end of the season yet, the answer is RIGHT NOW!!!

We are offering up to 50% off select products from the following companies:
