Cutthroat Anglers Owner Trapper Rudd with fish

Archived Report

Colorado at Parshall - 06/14/07

Guides Rating: Guides Rating of 3 Stars
Streamflow at time of report: 1305cfs

The Parshall area has been running high but fishable with PMD's and caddis popping in the afternoons. This place is a great deal right now. My suggestion is to sleep in, get a big greasy breakfast, and bring some dry flies for the afternoons. Crossing the river may be quite challenging right now, but use the bridge and fish from one side or the other.

If the volume is too much for your liking, try heading up above the confluence in Paul Gilbert, Lone Buck, or Byers Canyon.

Pros' Picks include Barr's PMD Emergers, Graphic Caddis, Buckskin Caddis, Thorax PMD's, Silouhette Duns, Snowshoe PMD's, Peacock Caddis, Wilcox A/C Caddis, San Juan Worms, and JuJu Bees.
