Blue River in Silverthorne - 07/10/07

Guides Rating: Guides Rating of 5 Stars
Streamflow at time of report: 201cfs

The Blue in town is actually down to 200 CFS. Wading is easy at this flow and the hatches are picking up. We have heard several reports of great dry fly fishing with the patterns listed below.

In town and North of town, PMD's have been hatching late morning, Green Drakes are popping mid-day, and caddis are thick in the evenings.

Come now, this won't last long!

Recommended Flies: In town fish Randy's or Solitude Mysis along with Miracles or Black Beautys. Carry a few midge, Drake, and PMD Dries PMD's, PMD Silhouette Duns, Wilcox Caddis, and Hi-Vis Elkhair Caddis.
