The Blue has finally settled down to a typical 100 CFS. Wading is easy at this flow and the hatches are picking up. We have heard several reports of great dry fly fishing with the patterns listed below. Nymphing has also been productive between hatches.
North of town, a few Green Drakes are popping mid-day and caddis are thick in the evenings.
Come now, this won't last long!
Recommended Flies: In town fish Randy's or Solitude Mysis along with Miracles or Black Beautys. Carry a few Drake and caddis patterns as well such as Hairwing Cripple Drakes, Colorado Green Drakes, Wilcox Caddis, Ripcord Caddis, and Hi-Vis Elkhair Caddis.
