The volume of water in the Parshall area is good for wade fishing right now and action has been fair. Guides are reporting hatches of caddis, midges, and tricos, with good dry fly action at times. Nymphing with plenty of split shot is the key between hatches.

It's good to get out here early because water temps are reaching the 70+ degrees in the afternoons. Please carry a thermometer and hang it up at 64 degrees!

Pros' Picks include Graphic Caddis, Buckskin Caddis, Peacock Caddis, Wilcox A/C Caddis, San Juan Worms, Iron Sallys, Barr's Emergers, Randy's Baetis, UV Emergers, Drowned Trico Spinners, Black RS-2's, and JuJu Bees.
