Fishing has been better than average in town for the most part, although warm afternoons will produce dirty water late in the day. Midge nymphs and dries have been taking most of the fish lately, although shrimp are likely to become more prevalent this week. The flow out of Dillon jumped from 52 to 72 this today and should be right around 100 for the weekend.
Perfect drifts and a stealthy approach is key. It has been very slow fishing of late, so do not get discouraged if you put 1000 drifts through a hole with no success, that 1001st cast could be the one...
