Over the last week or so we have been hearing reports of quite a few pods of rising fish in the afternoon hours. Keeps your eyes on the slicks and flats and have an arsenal of small dries in your back pocket.
A few fish have been taken on mysis, but for the most part we recommend sticking to the midges. Take a few runs on the ski hill in the morning and fish the warmer afternoons!
Recommended Nymphs: Barr's Pure Midge Larva Red, Cream, and Black, Desert Storm Red, Rojo Midge, WD-40/WD-50, JuJu Bee Midge Zebra and Red, UV Emerger Chocolate or Black.
Recommended Dries: Hi-Vis Griffiths Gnat, Brooks Sprout Black, Cream, or Grey #24-26, Hatching Midge, Morgan's Midge, Trailing Shuck Midge, and Midge Adams.
