Blue River below Green Mtn. Res - 04/19/09

Guides Rating: Guides Rating of 3 Stars
Streamflow at time of report: 103cfs

Again, not much has changed since the last report here. With the dam influences, the Blue River tailwaters take a little longer to heat up than the local freestones. One thing of note, however, is that although it will remain clear, flows will move around on this stretch of water quite a bit throughout the spring. Have a look at the graphs before you head out there. Steady flows should indicate consistent fishing at most water levels, but if you see a significant change, give it a day or two for the shock to wear off.

Be careful getting in there- take your time and watch your step. Also give it a little time to warm up as the inversions can be chilly!
