This area is worth a look for sure. The weather can be a bit unpredictable here, but it is in the "banana belt". Current reports have been unreliable, but if you go nymphing, you are going to catch some fish. I love fishing the Wellsville area for some reason. Virtually any stretch from Buena Vista down is worthy. We even began floating down here in March last year!! During Winter months with this stretch (as with all stretches of rivers up here in the high country), small dark flies are going to produce. BWO's will or should be showing up in the next couple of weeks.
