We have reports of the river turning off color by mid-afternoon. The mornings are fishing well with tiny midge and BWO nymphs. The flows are a bit swelled, so you might be able to get away with bigger tippets and bigger flies. If you notice the water turning murky, we suggest you tie on a larger attractor nymph (we have many new attractor patterns for the 2007 season). Sometimes the muddy water can be a blessing in disguise because it is no longer necessary to have a stealth approach and presentation. The slight run-off also carries food into the river, so the fish will definitely loose some inhibition to chow on some food.
