Eagle River near Avon - 08/12/10

Guides Rating: Guides Rating of 3 Stars
Streamflow at time of report: 199cfs

Water temps have been dropping on the Eagle over the past weeks making it a formidable fishery lately. Hares ears, pheasant tales, Drake Nymphs, and midge patterns have been the productive sub surface flies. Look for Drakes, Caddis, Tricos, and BWO's on the surface. Dry dropper to an emerger pattern has proven to be a good rig as of lately. Look for great streamer fishing in the next month!
