The Fork is fishing great as long as the water is somewhat clear. Midge and Blue Winged Olive Hatches have been strong. Clarity is day to day so check the flows or call the shop before heading out. Look for discolored water but the chance at some good fishing on the Lower Fork. The Crystal River is running hard, so below the confluence there is some color. Best tactics include nymphing large beadheads followed by a zebra midge, BLM or Barr's Emerger. For all of you boaters out there, the river is floatable right now in a hard boat but advanced maneuvering may be required. It's best to know the river if you're going to float it at this flow.
