Ten Mile Creek - 04/08/07

Guides Rating: Guides Rating of 2 Stars
Streamflow at time of report: 44cfs

Ten Mile Creek is never the best option, but if you want get away from the crowds this is decent option. You should find lake fish moving into the river proper in Frisco. Egg patterns are always a good choice when casting to fish that recently entered the river. During warmer days, you will probably see a decent Midge hatch. San Juan Worms are a good option if any of the feeder creeks are pouring mud into the river. When the water is clear, you need to be stealthy to avoid spooking fish. If you fish in the canyon, be careful to avoid slipping on ice because this stretch sees considerable less sun.
