Tips from the Pros

Fishing Licenses

All authorized fishing license agencies require a valid Social Security number to issue a fishing license. We require cash for any license purchase! In order to protect you identity and expedite your preparation time, we suggest you use the state's website to purchase your license. A Colorado fishing license can be purchased at any license agency, over the phone (1-800-244-5613), or through the Division of Wildlife's website. Credit and debit cards are accepted for phone and web purchases.

All anglers over 16 years old must purchase a Colorado fishing license before fishing any water in Colorado, including private water. Cutthroat Anglers solely practices catch-and-release; however, you can find specific regulations through the Division of Wildlife website.
