Clint Rossell

The consummate professional, Clint eats, breathes, and sleeps fly fishing. Did we mention he likes to fly fish? At times, Clint is so in tune with trout that you would swear he is an incarnate form of a trout from a past life. Clint’s obsession with customer service combined with his addiction for fly fishing led him to become one of the pillars of the guide staff. Don’t let his small stature fool you…he commands a regal presence on the water. We think he might be a long-lost descendent of the mythical civilization of Atlantis. Most scholars believe Plato was talking about a lost utopian, marine society; however, we know that Plato was actually predicting the future foretelling the emergence of Clint as a supreme angler.

Clint won back-to-back fantasy football championships in the shop league. As the self proclaimed local football guru, his three-peat hopes came crashing to the ground after a devastating defeat early in the 2004 playoffs. Clint quickly recovered after his beloved Steelers followed a Cinderella storyline all the way to the Lombardi Trophy in 2006.

Clint hosts many of our winter fly tying classes. He was a professional tier for many Front Range shops during the 90’s, and now he shares secrets and new ideas with many of the industries finest fly tiers – a fact that only adds to his fabled reputation.

His infatuation with big fish has lead Clint to pursue the wonders of Alaska Rainbows. Boasting the purest strain of Rainbows in the world, Clint hosts numerous clients each year on Alaskan Angling Adventures.

Clint is in constant search for big fish magic. This obsession takes him on an annual pilgrimage to the trophy trout rivers of New Zealand and Alaska. Clint’s witty sense of humor or unquenchable desire to please his clients quickly gained him one of the largest repeat clientele of any regional guide. If you are in need of personal attention and instruction, Clint would be your pick.
