Reed Ryan

Reed hatched on the Lamar River in Austria while Mom and Dad were fly fishing. It was all downhill from there. Reed grew up saltwater fly fishing in Long Island Sound and has since fished all across the globe. He joined the Cutthroat Anglers Staff in 2008.

Widely known for his enthusiasm in trout fishing endeavors, he’s always up for an adventure. His quirky style and sense of humor will always keep you on your toes. He is easily recognized as the only guy wearing plaid on plaid (on plaid).

Reed spends his winters Ski Patrolling at Copper Mountain. He lives in Frisco with his wife, daughter, and dog.
