Don't trust a guide with crusty wading boots - unless his hands are ruined from rowing 100 days in a row.

Mitch grew up in Minnesota where he learned to fish with his dad for walleye using bait – everyone deserves a second chance. He possesses a similar stature to Paul Bunyan, but, luckily, Mitch wields a fly rod instead of an axe.
Mitch eventually moved to Colorado where he learned the merits of fly fishing and there’s been no looking back. The near proximity to trout didn’t help his GPA in college, but at least it took the spinning rod out of his hand.
After trying a few random gigs after college, Mitch never found anything that allowed him to fish enough. We met Mitch during one of his corporate escapades and invited him to come fly fishing with us; unfortunately, he never left the shop. We decided to hire him as a guide, but the sudden growth of the shop created a need for a full time shop manager.
“Thank you Mitch for the phone call and showing an interest in your customer.
That kind of a relationship with a customer has long been forgotten in the world of business. Refreshing and very much appreciated, it's a pleasure to do business with some one that cares.”

Mitch has fearlessly led the shop for the past few years. The shop continues to grow and sometimes actually manages a profit, which must be a direct result of the array of corporate skills Mitch has acquired over the years…yeah, that’s why…we think.
Mitch makes an annual pilgrimage to the Green River each year in search of rising fish and larger-than-life fish tales. He has also learned the merits of saltwater destination trips over the past few years, and recently landed his first Permit – we’re still not sure if he’s fully recovered from his shock and elation that came with landing the permit. He also joined Trapper and Rosko on their Indonesian angling exploration adventure.
Now Mitch has a new Black Lab, Windsor. The dog grows faster than weeds, so by the time you read this Windsor will probably be full grown. At least Mitch has a new fishing companion who won’t drink more than his fair share.
Mitch especially likes when customers pester him with questions about bait fishing for trout and the finer skills of snagging hooks. We think it has something to do with childhood flashbacks.
